Alan joined Darby & Darby after relocating from Liverpool, where he worked for a large law firm. He brought with him a deep understanding of legal finance operations and quickly adapted to the dynamics of a high street firm. Since joining, he has taken on a central role in managing the firm’s accounts, implementing compliance processes, and mentoring junior staff.
He plays a critical role in ensuring the firm meets its obligations under the Solicitors Accounts Rules and wider regulatory frameworks, including anti-money laundering and due diligence. Alan has led the creation of firm-wide compliance systems that support consistency, free up fee-earner time, and provide a clear point of contact for compliance-related questions.
